Dholera’s first chips are a 2028 story now, not a 2026 one
The fab was to roll its first chip out in December 2026. The technology minister now puts commercial operations in mid-2028, and the line will start on 90-nanometre rather than 28. We carried the older date. Here is the correction, and what a later fab actually does to a supplier buying land today.

The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways has invited proposals from consultants to design a four-to-six-lane expressway between Bhavnagar and Bharuch, crossing the Gulf of Khambhat on a bridge. About 68 kilometres in all. A study first, twelve months of it, and nothing built for years.
